Michael Hardiman is an experienced lawyer. He is the principal of the firm styled Michael Hardiman Solicitors. The firm is located in Dundas, a suburb located in Sydney’s north-west. He is the sole proprietor of the firm.

Michael was admitted as a Solicitor in 1970 having been articled at Freehills (as it was then known), one of Australia’s most prominent and respected national law firms.

He has a wealth of experience, having previously practiced in Turramurra and Hornsby for over 20 Years and then in Terrey Hills for nearly the same period and since 2016 from his home office at Dundas. He is well regarded by other legal practitioners and has regularly worked as a locum for other lawyers whilst they have been on extended leave.

Michael has years of experience in the preparation of wills, from the basic to more technical wills with optional discretionary trusts or disability trusts, powers of attorney, enduring guardianship documents and overall estate planning advice.

He is also highly experienced helping people handle a deceased estate, including those who may have been either left out of an estate altogether or who believe that the will in question, is simply just not fair.

Michael’s dispute resolutions skills extend over the entirety of the pre-litigation stage up to the commencement of court proceedings.

As a lawyer, his wide experience has included conveyancing and property transactions acting for a wide range of people, extending from first home buyers to mums and dads selling or buying, as well as acting in complex and challenging multi-million dollar property transactions.

With many of Michael’s clients reaching retirement he is now very experienced in legal advice around Retirement Living, where people move from a family home into a retirement village or aged care location.

Michael’s firm in Dundas is a home office, and while he is happy to see clients at his home office he prefers to see clients or prospective clients at their home, workplace, or even a local coffee shop if that suits. Many of Michael’s elderly or frail clients appreciate this part of his service, and Michael sees this as an important offering, as not many practitioners are willing to offer this mobile service.

His comfortable personality, detailed knowledge of the law, and ability to encourage others in the conduct of their matter has enabled Michael’s clients to feel in safe hands and confident they will achieve really good outcomes.
